DC Semester: Fall 2009
School: UGA School of Public and International Affairs
Type of Internship: Congressional Office

I am from Watkinsville, Georgia and received my undergraduate degree in international affairs and my master’s degree in international policy.  I started traveling at a young age, which led to my enthusiasm for international politics.  National security and government have driven my academic pursuits since I was 13 years old, though my interests are varied and include issues from agriculture to space.  I look forward to new adventures and value good friends and family with which to share them

Type of Internship: Congressional Office

I graduated from the University of Georgia May 2010 with a B.A. in International Affairs. Graduation day, however, marked the six month anniversary of my job in Congressman Jack Kingston’s (GA-1) D.C. office. I worked for Congressman Kingston for two years before returning to school to get my Master of Science in aquatic science and law degree. My goal is practice natural resource and land use law. I graduated from my masters December 2013 and plan to start law school this coming fall. In the meantime, I am working in the Conservation Department at B.A.S.S. LLC.
