I graduated from UGA (Go Dawgs!) in May 2009 with B.S. Environmental Health Science and will be graduating from Virginia Tech with an Executive Masters of Natural Resources, Leadership in Sustainability in 2014.  I have four years working as an environmental consultant specializing in Environmental Management Systems and Environmental Compliance. My current position consists of starting an office/branch in the D.C. Metro area with an engineering/environmental firm called Alfred Benesch & Company (www.benesch.com). Responsibilities include marketing, sales, business development, executing projects and developing and leading a company-wide sustainability program. Interests include traveling, service-learning, learning something new, enjoying time with friends, playing music and wake boarding.

I participated in the WSP during the Spring semester of 2009 as an intern in the office of Senator Johnny Isakson. In May 2010, I graduated from the University of Georgia with degrees in Economics and Political Science.

Ellyn Echols is a 2010 graduate of the University of Georgia with a degree in International Affairs. After UGA, she spent a year in Cairo, Egypt with the American University in Cairo Presidential Fellows Program and got to watch the revolution unfold firsthand. After returning from Egypt, Ellyn moved to DC to work for AECOM International Development and now continues her work with them as the Program Support Manager for the USAID-funded Stability in Key Areas (SIKA) East program in Kabul.
