WSP Alumna Dyci Manns Recognized by The Root

Washington Semester Program alumna Dyci Manns (FA '10) recently was recognized by The Root as one of twenty-five young African-American innovators who are making extraordinary contributions. Dyci is spotlighted for her efforts to promote service through her non-profit, MODEL26. As a participant in the Fall 2010 Washington Semester Program, Dyci interned with the Center for American Progress.

UGA’s Washington Semester Program celebrates 100-mark milestone in participant number

The University of Georgia Washington Semester Program celebrates a milestone this spring, passing the 100 mark in number of participants since the program began in spring 2008. Nineteen students are currently gaining experience in the nation's capital as interns for business, government and public policy leaders, offices and organizations.

Amazing Washington Semester Alumnae

For the last two weeks, UGA's Amazing Students have been Washington Semester Program alumnae. Both Jenna Ziesenhene and Ashley Bartlett participated in the Spring 2010 Washington Semester Program. Jenna interned at the White House and Ashley at the State Department. They truly represent the best students in the Washington Semester and at UGA.
