DC Semester Q and A

Ryan S Anderson
Spring 2008

Brief bio:

Expected graduation:

May 2008

Degree objective:

B.A. Political Science, Juris Doctor

Why I went:

I chose to spend a semester in DC because I wanted the opportunity to learn policy, politics and law making from the source. I was not sure at the time whether I wanted to go into law or wanted to go into politics, and still feel it could have gone either way. I would not have traded my experience in DC for any semester abroad opportunity at UGA.

Favorite spot to visit:

The national mall, Library of Congress, or the West Wing trip.

Most memorable day:

The most memorable day would have to be either the trip to the Speaker’s office, my many trips to the Library of Congress or attempting to see Candidate Obama speak at American University.

Why I'm glad I went:

I’m glad I went because I have such a deep appreciation and knowledge base for our political system.

Where I interned:

Quinn Gillespie & Associates
