DC Semester Q and A

Dustin R Huffman
Spring 2010

I made life-long friends and professional connections that have helped me get to where I am today.

Brief bio:

Expected graduation:

May 2011

Degree objective:

Political Science, Environmental Ethics

Why I went:

I studied political science at UGA and wanted to immerse myself in the epicenter of the profession I was pursuing - to make sure it was the right fit. It was.

Favorite spot to visit:

Staring up at the US Capitol from our living room, the walk to work, and nearby rooftops certainly never got old.

Most memorable day:

Snotorious B.I.G. hit while we were in the program. Most snow I’ve seen since the blizzard of ‘93… The WaPo front page featured an unbelievable photo of a guy kite-skiing on the National Mall.

Why I'm glad I went:

I met some incredible people that challenged me both personally and professionally. Thankful for our tight group and lasting friendships.

Where I interned:

Office of Congressman Phil Gingrey
