Housing

Delta Hall

Students eating dinner in Delta Hall

General Information

All students are required to live in the housing provided through the Washington Semester Program. The program is housed at the UGA in DC facility, Delta Hall, at 608 Massachusetts Avenue NE. Students live in furnished residence hall suites for 3 or 4 students with en-suite bath. Each student floor has a large common area kitchen, study and lounge space, and laundry facilities. Student classrooms are located on the first floor of the building.

See sample layouts of 3 Person Suite and 4 Person Suite.

The house is located in the Capitol Hill neighborhood on the east side of Stanton Park. Students are just minutes from the Capitol as well as all Senate and House office buildings. In addition, the facility is just a short walk from the Supreme Court, The Library of Congress, the National Mall, and many other historic landmarks! Students may easily access public transportation at both the Red (at Union Station) and Blue/Orange/Silver lines (at Eastern Market) of the Metrorail system. Capitol Hill, the district where students will live, is full of restaurants and places to go!

Please note: Students are strongly discouraged from bringing cars to Washington and on-site parking is not available for students.

Delta Hall is not available to students unaffiliated with a UGA field study program.
