Yoshi Castro is a senior interning with the Department of State in the Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor. She has also interned at GALEO Impact Fund where she worked on civic engagement within Georgia’s Latinx community, and is a Gilman, Rangel, and Boren Scholar. After graduation, she intends to pursue a master’s degree in international relations and a career as a Public Diplomacy Foreign Service Officer. A fun fact about Yoshi is that she has studied abroad three times during her undergraduate career in Germany, Uganda, and the United Kingdom. This spring, she will embark on her fourth study abroad experience in South Korea.
