DC Semester: Fall 2015
School: UGA Odum School of Ecology
Type of Internship: Governmental Agency

Throughout my time at UGA, I was involved in the Roosevelt Institute, a student-run think tank, and Campus Scouts, which runs Girl Scout troops in underserved areas of Athens. Research was been a critical component of my undergraduate career, having worked at the Center for Integrative Conservation Research, Smithsonian Conservation Biology Institute in Front Royal, Virginia, and Center for Geospatial Research. I also enjoyed my involvement with the Omicron Delta Kappa Leadership Society and Palladia Women’s Leadership Society. I am now studying public policy as a Schwarzman Scholar at Tsinghua University in Beijing.
