Studied Public Affairs Journalism and Political Science. In college, participated in SGA as Chief Justice, President of BMLS, ABK Honor Society, Black Affairs Council, NAACP Member. Worked for Recreational Sports: Competitive Sports and Strength and Conditioning. Interned in Congressman David Scott’s Office. Was hired full-time immediately in Congressman Donald Norcross’ office.

Participated in DC Semester in Spring 2010, held an internship with NBC News (Meet the Press and the Political Unit). Graduated in May 2011 with a job at CNN in Atlanta. Promoted to the Special Events Unit, where I traveled and covered the 2012 presidential election. Currently still with Special Events in Atlanta.

Rachel Cohen, 21, grew up in Raleigh, North Carolina with her parents and her older brother, Michael. Rachel was drawn to the University of Georgia for both its social and academic atmosphere. She immediately fell in love with downtown Athens, the lively social scene and the Grady College of Journalism. Rachel started out as an advertising major at UGA, but when she learned that Grady offered a concentration in magazine journalism, she quickly changed paths.In DC, she interned as a Digital Marketing Intern with Mothership Strategies.
