DC Semester Q and A

Samantha Ann Sheldon
Fall 2016

It got my career rolling. If it wasn't for WSP I would not have had my job in Sandy Springs this semester which has lead to all my potential job offers. I have gained so much confidence in my abilities because of WSP.

Brief bio:

Expected graduation:

May 2017

Degree objective:

Political Science

Why I went:

I wanted to try my hand in the real political world. I have always loved D.C and took the opportunity to go back.

Favorite spot to visit:

Either the National History Museum or the Capitol

Most memorable day:

I think my most memorable day was the day I met Niki Haley and saw Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden while at work toward the end of the semester.

Why I'm glad I went:

I met some of my best friends, learned what I really wanted to do with my career, and found a home away from home.

Where I interned:

Office of Senator Johnny Isakson
