The United States Department of the Interior (DOI) is an executive department responsible for the management and conservation of most federal lands and natural resources. They also provide scientific resources about lands under their control and uphold federal commitments to American Indians, Alaska Natives, Native Hawaiians, and affiliated Island Communities.
