Lydia Prudent is a junior interning at the Office of House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries. At UGA, she served as the Diversity and Inclusion Chair of the Demosthenian Literary Society, and works as a Production Leader at Winshape Camps. She aspires to work in national security, educational, or child protection policy, and then return to school to earn her J.D. to help defend people who are trying to immigrate into the United States. Eventually, she would like to run for office in order to improve the system of immigration itself for those trying to come in. A fun fact about Lydia is that she was trained in the performing arts for eight years.
