Aminata Balde

Fall 2025 Intern

Aminata Balde is a senior. On campus, she has been a world leader for the Center of Global and Cultural Student Engagement, a SPIA Ambassador, and the External Affairs Officer for Model African Union. She has also previously served as a Research Assistant with GLOBIS’ Human Rights Research Lab where she conducted independent research on “The Connection between Natural Resource Exploitation and Human Rights Abuses”. She has also worked as an intern for Human Rights Measurement Initiative and gained experience as an Undergraduate Fellow with Historic Athens, contributing to heritage and community preservation. She aspires to become an International Lawyer and work in African Development. A fun fact about Aminata is that she studied abroad in Italy this past summer!
