Shyneria Whatley is a junior interning at the Office of Congressman Hank Johnson (GA-04). On campus, Shyneria serves as an ambassador for the School of Public and International Affairs while being involved in the Black Pre-Law Student Association and Young Dems of UGA. Shyneria also served as an intern for the Western Judicial Court under District Attorney Deborah Gonzales in Spring 2024. Upon graduation, she hopes to attend law school or return to the Hill. A fun fact about Shyneria is that she studied abroad in Italy this past summer.
