Stephany Gaona-Perez is a senior interning for the Department of Justice in the Criminal Division and Human Rights and Special Prosecutions Section (HSRP). At UGA, she is an Engagement, Leadership, & Service (ELS) Peer Leader, and a former mentor and fundraising chair for LISTo (Latinos Invested in the Students of Tomorrow). She also used to intern at Project Safe Inc. in Athens. She aspires to pursue a Master’s degree and career in federal government. A fun fact about Stephany is that she has met FBI Director Christopher Wray!
