Ty Ross is a junior, interning at the Near East South Asia Center for Strategic Studies, located at the National Defense University. At UGA, he is a member of the Alexander Hamilton society, and has studies abroad once in Italy, and again in Australia and New Zealand, where he took courses on European Union Politics and environmental sustainability. He has also traveled to Thailand, Vietnam, and Egypt, where he expanded his worldview through immersion in very different cultures, languages, and histories from those in the Western world. His goal is to hone my career interests for the future by gaining some experience in the national defense field. A fun fact about Ty is that he enjoys playing guitar in his spare time!
